Photomath alternative
Do you want a solution, or feedback on your solution?
Photomath and LearnFastAI solve different study problems. Photomath starts with a question and shows a worked solution. LearnFastAI starts with your working and finds the first line that stopped following.

The short answer
Choose the tool that matches where you are stuck
Choose Photomath when…
You have a maths problem and want to see a solution worked from the beginning. Photomath scans the problem, produces a result, and lets you inspect the solving steps.
Choose LearnFastAI when…
You already made a real attempt, but the answer is wrong and you cannot see why. LearnFastAI marks the earliest line that breaks so you can repair the reasoning yourself.

Why check the attempt?
The useful clue is often one line, not another full solution
A complete worked answer can show a valid route without telling you why your route failed. If line one is sound, line two is sound, and line three drops a chain-rule factor, everything below line three may be wrong for the same reason. Marking the first break keeps the feedback small enough to act on.
That makes LearnFastAI most useful after a genuine attempt: homework review, practice-paper corrections, and the moment when the answer key disagrees with you but does not explain why.
Honest limits
When LearnFastAI is not the right alternative
- If you want the final result immediately, use a solver. Check and hint modes deliberately stop short of writing it for you.
- If you have not attempted the problem yet, a textbook example or a structured lesson may be a better first move.
- The desktop overlay is currently Windows-only. On macOS, Linux, phones, and tablets, use the browser checker.
- AI feedback can be wrong. Verify any flagged rule against your notes, textbook, teacher, or another trusted source.
Try the different approach
Start by checking one attempt
The free plan includes 3 checks a day, up to 30 each month. No card is required. If the workflow fits, Pro raises the limit to 300 checks and adds full history and weak-area tracking.
