The overlay is the whole point
The web checker works, but the desktop app is what makes this usable at 1am with a problem set open. Three keys, no tab switching, no re-typing your working.
Screen capture on macOS needs its own permission flow and a notarised build. Until both are done properly, use the web checker.

Install and sign in
The app shows a short code and opens the linking page in your browser. Approve it there and the desktop signs itself in — no password is ever typed into the app.

Leave it running
LearnFastAI sits in the tray doing nothing until you press a key. It does not watch your screen and it does not record anything in the background.

Snip what you are stuck on
Press Alt C and drag a box over your working. The marking appears over the top of whatever you were doing.
Windows may warn you about the installer
SmartScreen flags installers from publishers it has not seen enough of yet. Choose “More info” then “Run anyway”. If that is not something you are comfortable doing, the web checker needs no install at all.
