Academic integrity
Where LearnFastAI sits relative to your institution's rules, and why it is designed the way it is.
Last updated 29 August 2026
The design constraint
LearnFastAI will not state a final answer in check or hint mode. That is enforced in the instructions the model receives, and it is the reason the product looks the way it does. A tool that hands over answers would be easier to build and impossible to defend.
What it does instead is name the step where your reasoning breaks and the rule you have violated, then leave the correction to you. It behaves like a tutor who refuses to hold the pen.
What this does not do
It does not solve a problem from a blank page. It does not write your essay, your lab report, or your proof. It does not sit an exam for you, and the overlay is not designed to be hidden from an invigilator.
Your institution's rules come first
Assessment policies differ, and some prohibit any AI assistance regardless of what it does. Those rules take precedence over anything on this page. If you are unsure, ask your course coordinator before using LearnFastAI on assessed work — not after.
Using LearnFastAI on an assessment that forbids it is misconduct, and it is your misconduct, not ours.
For staff
If you teach and want to know exactly what students can get out of this, ask. We will show you the actual instructions given to the model and the output it produces on your problem sets. Email [email protected].
